“These Christmas snow bombs are delicious sweet treats to have kicking about in the fridge this season if you need a convenient, high-fat snack. They must be stored in the fridge, but you will be happy to know that they freeze well too. So, you may as well make a double batch! Season’s Greetings, everyone!” – Monya

To create these delectable delights, you’ll need some key ingredients: cinnamon, coconut oil, almond butter, and desiccated coconut. Cinnamon not only adds a warm and festive flavour but also has potential health benefits. For example, it is known to improve blood sugar control and reducing inflammation.
Coconut oil provides a rich and creamy texture while supplying a dose of healthy fats, which are essential for a successful keto diet. Almond butter offers a nutty flavour and adds to the creamy consistency of the fat bombs. Lastly, desiccated coconut gives a satisfying crunch and enhances the overall festive appeal.
These sweet fat bombs are not only keto-friendly but also satisfy your sweet tooth without causing a blood sugar spike. They can be enjoyed as a quick energy boost, a dessert, or even as a festive gift for friends and family.

It is important to note that to maintain ketosis, it’s essential to track carbohydrate intake and ensure it aligns with your daily macro goals. Consulting with a healthcare professional is advised before making dietary changes. Scroll to see the full macros and allergens. Christmas Snow Bombs
Per serving
Equipment
Ingredients
- 70 g (2.5 oz) unsweetened almond butter
- 40 g (1.4 oz) coconut oil, melted
- 80 g (2.8 oz) almond flour
- 4 TB powdered erythritol, confectioners
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 TB desiccated coconut
Instructions
- Combine the almond butter (which is easier to work with if at room temperature and excess oil drained off) with the melted coconut oil. Whisk well to combine.
- Ina separate bowl, combine the almond flour, sweetener and ground cinnamon. Pour the melted wet mixture into the the bowl and mix until evenly combined. The mixture needs to firm up so that you can form small balls from it. Place the bowl in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, form 10 small balls from the mixture, but work quickly as the warmth in your hands will make it tricky. If it is easier, create 10 portions and return to the fridge to firm up again before attempting to gentle roll them in the palm of your hands into balls.
- Roll the balls in the desiccated coconut and keep the snow bombs in the fridge for a quick Christmas snack!
