Sweet Egg and Hemp ‘Porridge’ (Keto)

Sweet Egg and Hemp Porridge Keto

“This sweet egg and hemp porridge was a slightly unusual experiment, but still one worth sharing. It may remind you a little of a curdled creme brulee, but with a tiny bit of crunch from the hemp. Give it a go!” – Monya

To begin with, egg whites are an excellent source of protein, making them an ideal choice for those following a low-carb, high-protein regimen. They are low in calories and fat, making them an effective component for weight management. Moreover, egg whites are packed with essential amino acids, promoting muscle growth and aiding in post-workout recovery.

Additionally, incorporating hemp seeds into your keto breakfast can enhance both the taste and nutritional value. Hemp seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which support heart health and reduce inflammation. They also contain high-quality plant-based protein, fibre, and an array of vitamins and minerals. Furthermore, hemp seeds are a great source of antioxidants, helping to protect the body against oxidative stress.

It is important to note that to maintain ketosis, it’s essential to track carbohydrate intake and ensure it aligns with your daily macro goals. Consulting with a healthcare professional is advised before making significant dietary changes.
