“You will love this bacon wrapped monkfish recipe idea! Monkfish is a delicately flavoured fish (albeit quite MEATY in that it is dense and filling). It requires a little more cooking time than regular fish fillets, which makes it the perfect option to wrap a strip of bacon around before baking. I love smoked, streaky bacon because there is more fat that will render out into the fish while cooking. More importantly, it is the smokiness of the bacon that is the beautiful dominant flavour. The bacon wrapped monkfish fillets are then served with a lovely, simple yogurt dressing drizzled over. This recipe is so easy, very tasty and perfect with your favourite greens on the side. ” – Monya

“You can’t go wrong with a great Homemade Pesto which offers massive flavours. Here, I cooked spinach for a lovely buttery texture, then simply stirred it into Basic Keto Gnocchi. This may seem like a rich meal for two, so stretch it to four as a side dish. Then, halve the macros accordingly. In this recipe, I use “gnocchi” made from almond flour, but if you prefer a nut-free version, I have a fabulous Cheesy Gnocchi in my second book Lazy Keto Kitchen (2021).” – Monya

“Funnyman and I love blue cheese on steak! In this recipe, I top it with sweet jammy red onions, which balances the flavours beautifully. These macros are based on using two large rib-eyes (220g / 7.8oz whoppers), and truth be told – I couldn’t finish mine. It’s very rich. However, Funnyman, wolfed down his portion happily!” – Monya

“I got a very lucky break a few years ago when a colleague of mine at The Fat Duck had-a-friend-that-knew-a-guy. He landed me a fab private-cheffing gig cooking for a tennis star over the Queens & Wimbledon Tournaments. My first year (2017), I was terrified but embraced the challenge. The second year, I was just grateful that he booked me again. By the third year, I truly felt like I was part of his team! I am in my 7th year now. The highlight every year is when my husband and I treat the team to a BBQ and I always ensure rib-eye with chimichurri is on the menu!” – Monya

“The great flavour of this chicken and veg with balsamic drizzle is enhanced further by the addition of basil. I especially love the balsamic mustard reduction drizzled over at the end. It brings a sharpness that shapes the whole dish and a key flavour to the end-result. The whole lot takes only 35 minutes to cook, but this means getting some things going at the same time. I have outlined an efficient order in the method below. Remember, always preheat your oven and prep all your components before you even start cooking – its good practice for any cook. As amazing as this dish is, you may want to save it for a day after intermittent fasting because it still calculates at 12g carbs per serving. Be sure to see all the Poultry dishes on the site.” – Monya

“These fathead sausage rolls are low in carbs, high in fat and worth all the effort. I know its #dirtyketo, but this is due to the use of delicious (processed) smoked Polish sausage which contains a little wheat and soy. However, for this giant whopper, I think its worth being a little filthy every now and then. The macros here do not include the spicy tomato relish but I highly advise that you whip one up. The sweet acidity it brings is just lovely! THIS RECIPE IS ACCOMPANIED WITH A VIDEO to help you along.” – Monya
