Deliciously sticky low-carb chicken wings, coming in at 6.2g carbs per serving (1 serving = 3 chicken wings). Can be enjoyed as an appetiser, light meal, or to form part of your protein in a main meal.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan oven). This is 200°C for conventional ovens (or 400°F / gas mark 6).
Spread the chicken wings out on a large roasting tray and season with salt. Place the tray into the oven for 15 minutes.
In the meantime, whisk together the ketchup, tamari, mustard, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic paste and ginger paste in a bowl.
Remove the wings from the oven and brush the marinade onto the chicken wings. Return the wings to the oven for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and increase the oven to maximum. Baste the chicken wings one last time and cook for 5 more minutes in the hot oven (25 min in total). Season with pink Himalayan salt and scatter over a few chili flakes (and any herbs if you are feeling fancy)..
